New YouTube Ads + Fullscreen Behaviour: No Thanks!

Dear YouTubeimeanGoogle,

Your new video ads really, really suck.  Do I need to see the ad every time I reload the page?  The same ad?  Over, and over and over?  You guys know what cookies are, right?

Oh, and why, you might ask, am I reloading the page so frequently?  Well I'm not - you are.  You see, when I hit that little fullscreen button, your stupid technology doesn't realize that I'm already in the middle of watching a fully buffered clip.  It thinks it's smarter than me (it's not, btw), and says, "Hey! You're going fullscreen.  You must want to watch one of these higher-definition versions of the same clip!"  So my fully-buffered video goes away, and I now have to wait for the entire clip to download all over again.

But wait!  There's more!  Our Internet connectivity here is so pitiful that the I have to hit pause and wait for the entire clip to buffer - assuming it does fully buffer - before we get a timeout or a reset or just a plain old hang.  At which point I do what, Google?  I exit fullscreen to get the lower definition video, and I hit reload.  And reload does what, Google?
